Velveteen Lop website-Cool Link!

Although I don’t yet have a webpage for the new breed under development; the Velveteen Lop, I still enjoy browsing for information on the net.  My friends have a few of these lops and they are very personable rabbits.  They also have plush, velvety fur like the Mini Rex and Rex rabbits, but the body type of the English Lop, only smaller.

I ran across a website all about the Velveteen Lop rabbit, made by Sarrah and Gail Gibbons - The Velveteen Lop Rabbit website.

A very pretty site with awesome graphics and pictures along with tons of info on this newer breed.  Velveteen Lop enthusiasts are sure to enjoy Sarrah and Gail’s work!

Breed and Variety Presentations from 2006 ARBA Convention

I’ve already had several emails from breeders asking me to post the results of the 2006 ARBA Convention new breed and variety presentations on the breed pages in The Rabbit & Cavy Directory but I prefer to wait until all the results are actually published in Domestic Rabbit, which deams them official.

Generally, during December/January, after I get the DR, I’ll go through each breed and update that page with convention news - I’d rather wait and post the official results so my pages are accurate.  Keep in mind that none of the changes are effective until February 1, 2007 anyways……

Well I woke up too late this morning and don’t have any time left to work on new listings today.  Sorry about that: I have many breeders still waiting for new listings and changes to existing listings.
